What We Do
Our focus is on the Simmental breed with strong influence in red and black genetics with some background flechvieh influence. Because our inception into the industry is realitively new, our herd consists of only the latest genetics.
We are in the business of marketing both yearling and bred heifers both commercial and purebred as well as 30 plus bulls each spring. We beleive the Simmental breed has done an excellent job in developing the kind of beef animal that satisfies the end user wether it is the commercial cow/calf operator or feedlot and ultimately the end retail consumer. BlackSand Cattle Company has built and will continue to develop our genetic base with these groups in mind. A satisfied customer is what puts our feet on the floor every morning!
